eTeam’s global director – strategic accounts, Aanchal “Ann” Thakur, has the honor of being included in the 2017 Global Power 100 –Women in Staffing list. The award bestowed by Staffing Industry Analysts, recognizes female staffing leaders who are making a profound impact on their organizations and the industry by shaping the world of work.
Given that criteria, Ann Thakur not only qualifies for the award, she excels.
Thakur has been the face of eTeam and a key contributor since the firm’s inception in 1999. She is not only responsible for bringing in new clients but meeting the staffing and service needs of Fortune 2000 companies located in six countries.
Managing key global accounts is not just a sales technique. The role requires a broad range of skills including comprehensive knowledge of the industry and the client’s business, effective communication and a collaborative mindset.
In fact, Thakur’s collaborative prowess and thought leadership were on full display in 2016 when she took part in a conference panel discussion highlighting the importance of collaboration between suppliers and managed service programs (MSPs).
Throughout the industry, Thakur is known as a master relationship builder who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service that stands out from the rest. She is a recognized expert at nurturing relationships with strategically-important customers that produce measurable business benefits. Needless to say, she definitely has skin in the game.
Thakur sees herself as a humble servant-leader who puts the needs of her clients, internal staff and contingent workers first. She is never too busy to mentor a protégé or provide counsel that helps people develop and perform as highly as possible.

Thakur’s other recent accomplishments include continuing to deliver on strategic and tactical plans for customers as well as bringing client perspectives and viewpoints to eTeam’s leadership.
Under her tutelage in 2016, eTeam was awarded PRO Unlimited’s Global Supplier Award, Bartech/Guidant Group’s 2016 Supplier of the Year and TAPFIN’s Elite Partner Award. The highly prestigious awards recognize staffing suppliers for overall performance, spend contribution and qualitative feedback.
Thakur has a master’s degree in business management from Mumbai University. Her experience includes general staffing, information technology, engineering, clinical, scientific and professional staffing segments.
